Eastern UP Weather

[Deer Park, Luce County, MI, August 4, 2009]

Meteorology here
Is a long-dead lost science
On par with mad alchemy
Or rain-dancing to change things.
See, weather here’s like some folks
Who do whatever for reasons
Their own, on their own schedules
Donchu know, and if this for you
Creates dire concerns, undue
Inconvenience or such,
Tough patootie citizen
Welcome to the bunch, you’ll need
To learn to live hereabouts
To lose bloody rants and pouts,
Because weather changes by hours
And can leave one downright dour.
The best advice we can pass?
Drink more brandy, and don’t be
Such a woosy tight ass.
Eh?
