So long you make that white doughboy look svelte.
There ain’t no waders can accommodate
The full figure you and Painter Reubens
Favor, you see, Orvis, Simms and all the like
Spin thin and ruggedly attractive wares
Neglecting folks of our own girthetude
Which means we wade wet and hope our dewlaps
Don’t titillate feeding of muskellunge,
So instead of heading out to fish right now
Let’s sit on down and whip up some flapjacks
Filled with fresh huckleberries, peaches,
And topped with thick clotting cream from cows.
